startfaut v3

A design I made for my startfaut site. Startfaut is a personal start portal for myself , which I update once in a while. The latest update is long overdue, so here is the newest design I made today..

The whole design is inspired by Leopard (the metal-look and reflections part) and Vista (the transparent part). The font I used is Myriad Pro.

The design build up is as followed, first there is the logo. Then you got the menubar with the different items to search on (The Internet, Images, Video's, Dutch Wikipedia, English Wikipedia). The selected item (that you search on) is marked in a light-blue color. Then you got the search bar itself, which is large for my convinience . And last but not least, the Quick Site Bar(tm) which is also for my convinience. It links to Gmail, Tweakers.net (a large dutch IT-news site), (my) DeviantART (profile), Engadget, Joystiq and DownloadSquad..
